Welcome to the Mind Development Training and Research International Buddhist Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the enrichment of the human mind and the propagation of Buddhist wisdom. Founded by the esteemed Ven. Senior Professor Uthurawala Dhammaratana Thero, our center is nestled in the tranquil surroundings of No. 738/1, Sudarshana Mawatha, Hibutuwelgoda, Kelaniya, Sri Lanka.

At Mind Development Training and Research International Buddhist Center, we are committed to serving the community in various ways. Our multifaceted approach to community services encompasses a wide range of initiatives designed to foster personal growth and spiritual development. We proudly offer a Sinhala/English Bilingual Medium Preschool and Dhamma School to provide children with a strong foundation in education and morality.

Mindfulness Meditation Day, Chittabhyasa Bodhi Pooja, Deva Pooja, and Navagraha Pooja are organized to promote inner peace and spiritual awakening. Our Chittabhyasa Mobile Dharma Library and Chittabhyasa Public Library are invaluable resources for those seeking knowledge and enlightenment.

For language enthusiasts, our Language Counseling Services and Chittabhyasa Tripitaka Vidyalaya offer opportunities to deepen your linguistic skills. We also provide vocational training courses, including Prith Training Course for laymen and monks, as well as Astrology Certificates, Diplomas, and Degree Courses, Art Sculpture Engraving Certificates, Diploma Courses, and Old Temple Mural Painting Certificates, Diploma Courses to nurture creativity.

Religious training programs cater to the spiritual growth of Lay Theros and Dasasil Mothers, and we offer English Language Basic, Certificates, Diplomas for Novice Monks to empower them with language proficiency.

As part of our commitment to the community, we’ve initiated the Chittabhyasa Golden House Project and Chittabhayasa Funeral Assistance Project, extending our support during life’s most significant moments.
